Our Purpose

Stratton Meadows Elementary School is located in the heart of the Stratton Meadows Community. Stratton Meadows is a place where children feel valued and secure. Children form positive emotional bonds with the staff and school. The school is a diverse, multicultural community serving students of many talents and needs. In addition to our students, our community includes many extended family members. We welcome parents, grandparents and others to become part of the Stratton Meadows Family.

The literacy program at Stratton Meadows enables teachers to utilize effective research-based instructional strategies to maximize learning for all students.

Throughout the school year, Stratton Meadows utilizes the school action plan as a means to focus efforts toward improving student achievement. While there is still work to be done on raising student achievement, Stratton Hills students have made great gains in academic growth according to the Longitudinal Student Growth Model measurement used by the Colorado Department of Education.

Stratton Meadows is also a uniform-dress school, which has a positive impact on student learning, resulting in higher academic achievement; fewer discipline referrals and a focused academic learning environment.

Our Educators

Our dedicated staff offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of all students. All staff members participate in professional development that expands their knowledge and skills based on current educational research and teaching methods to improve student performance.

Staff members of Stratton Meadows Elementary believe parents and caregivers are an integral part of each child's education by actively being involved in his/her learning. Parent/family involvement occurs through PTO, school functions, other meetings, forums, etc.  A collaborative partnership between home and school is needed so parents/family members feel welcome and comfortable visiting Stratton Meadows Elementary School. The school action plan encompasses goals and activities to support this value of school and family/community partnerships.

Our Students

Our students are proud to be Stratton Meadows Panther Cubs! Our students, with their rich and diverse backgrounds, tie the school community together and teach students and staff to celebrate, respect and learn from their differences.
